What is Fun? Creative Writing Contest Presented by University of Phoenix

The Contest

The Creative Writing Contest is a 100-word student essay designed to promote the love of writing, creativity and storytelling. Previous contest themes includes writing an essay on “What is Fun?” We encourage you to download the entry form and have your child or students (or you for that matter!) describe what fun means to them. They are certain to have a lot to write about and, in doing so, become eligible for exclusive behind-the-scenes VIP prizes and personal meetings with Festival celebrity guests. The Famtastical Festival Creative Writing Contest is an opportunity to showcase your talent as an aspiring author and writer.

Winning entries in each grade level receive VIP Meet and Greet ticket and includes a goodie bag, picture with our celebrity guests. The school with the most submissions receives a donation of 100 books to the school library. The class with the most entries receives one (1) all day ride pass per student.

The Prize

One (1) STUDENT per grade level will be selected and receive a VIP Meet & Greet tickets  and includes a goodie bag, picture, and dance party. The SCHOOL with the most entries receives a donation of 100 books to the school library. The CLASS with the most contest entries will receive one (1) all day ride pass per student.
