Eligibility: Any student in K through 8th grades, currently enrolled in a school located in the state of Arizona may submit an entry. Only one entry per student will be accepted.

Submissions:  Must be signed by a parent, legal guardian, or educator of the eligible student complete with school name, teacher’s name, grade level, age of the student, and emailed to [email protected] or mailed to 99 E. Virginia Avenue, Suite 140, Phoenix, AZ 85004. Submission must be received two weeks prior to event date. Each submission must describe what is fun in 100 words or less. Class teacher, parent coordinator, or other school official at the school the student is currently enrolled may sign and submit entries.  Parental consent is required for students to participate.

Prizes: One (1) student per grade level will be selected and receive a VIP Meet & Greet ticket to the Famtastical Festival, and also receive a goodie bag, picture with our swag from our celebrity guest. The SCHOOL with the most entries receives a donation of 100 books to the school library. The CLASS with the most contest entries will receive one (1) all day ride passes per student.

How to Enter: Upload your students’ entries online at www.phoenixchildrensfestival.com/contest, email your students’ entry to [email protected] or mail your students’ entries to  The Famtastical Festival, 99 E. Virginia Avenue, Suite 140, Phoenix, AZ 85004. 

Judging: A panel of judges will select one (1) finalist from each grade level from eligible submissions. Finalist and winners shall be selected at the sole discretion of the judges decisions.

Cancellations: Phoenix Famtastical Festival reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify this contest at its sole discretion, due to seen or unforeseen circumstances, and/or acts of God, or for any reason, or for no reason. Judges reserve right to disqualify any entry to preserve integrity of contest.

Content Releases: By submitting an entry, parents/legal guardians agree to allow the Famtastical Festival organization and its sponsors to use the entry’s name, voice, likeness, picture and entrant information in any promotional material, either printed or digital, for Phoenix Famtastical Festival marketing and public relations purposes.

Sponsors: Sponsors are not responsible for any errors of omission or execution of the contest or any language contained in the official contest rules.  All questions relating to the contest should be directed to Carla Gentles, Phoenix Famtastical Festival, 99 E. Limitations of Liability: By entering the Contest, entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims,  and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be  resolved individually without resort to any form of class action;

(2) any claims, judgments and awards  shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest, but in no event attorney’s fees; and (3) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, liquidated, or consequential damages, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses.

General Release: By entering the Contest, contestants releases the Famtastical Festival, LLC., any other promotional sponsors, and each of their respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives, partners and agents from any and

all liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest, or with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light).
